Our inspiration for Café Von Gernet comes from the sea, architecture, and history. We want you to relish life, relax, and enjoy all our humble delicacies here.

We hope you can unwind in this atmosphere with the same feeling of joy as the Von Gernet family who built this house, Pyotr Tchaikovsky who vacationed in Haapsalu, and many other esteemed citizens from Estonia and beyond who have cherished this resort town.

About our Menu

When creating our menu, we first delved into the archives to learn about the culinary preferences of the 19th-century Russian imperial court and the characteristics of that era’s cuisine. Now, we can wholeheartedly say that we bring you the finest classics and fresh ideas from both French and Slavic cuisines. Naturally, all the dishes have been given a new and modern twist.

On our menu, you will find both savory delicacies and desserts.
