Café Von Gernet has been inspired by the sea, architecture, and history. We wish for you to enjoy life and relaxation here, and to savor all of our humble delicacies.
We hope that in this atmosphere you can rest with the same feeling as the Von Gernet family who built this house, Pyotr Tchaikovsky who once holidayed in Haapsalu, and the many other distinguished citizens from Estonia and abroad who have cherished this resort town.
About Our Menu
When creating our menu, we first delved into the archives to learn about the culinary preferences of the 19th-century Tsar’s court and the character of the cuisine of that time. Now we can say, hand on heart, that we bring you the finest classics and fresh ideas from both French and Slavic traditions. Naturally, every dish has been given a new and contemporary form.
In the menu you will find both savory delicacies and authentic French sweets.
